Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford appear on the red carpet rolled up in a super soft blanket.

 

The new couple on the block, Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford, made their red carpet debut in an unusual way. The couple stole the show at the LACMA Art + Film Gala 2022, as they made a cosy entrance wrapped in a large quilted blanket from the luxury brand. The couple, who appeared to have jumped out of bed and onto the red carpet, posed for photographers while wearing the blanket, which they later removed to reveal their coordinated outfits.

The 20-year-old singer wore a nightgown with lace on the neckline, bodice, and a cascading silhouette in the front. The look was boosted by two front thigh-high slits and a pair of matching sheer tights underneath. The singer completed the look with an eye mask that doubled as a headband and layered chains. Billie went with her signature makeup look of smudged black eyeliner and bare lips.

Meanwhile, The Neighbourhood’s lead singer looked great in a silk bottom-up and baggy pyjama pants. Jesse wore his collar open, revealing a number of tattoos on his chest and neck. The 31-year-old wore his hair in a messy bun and accessorised with a pendant chain.

The couple, who sparked dating rumours over the last month, particularly when they were caught kissing in a restaurant, made their relationship Instagram official last week when Billie posted a fun photo of them in their Halloween costumes. The couple attempted to mock critics who singled them out because of their 11-year age difference.

The singer previously dated actor Matthew Tyler Vorce in late 2021, but the couple split up in May. According to People, Billie also dated Brandon Adams, better known as rapper Q. She was candid in an Apple TV+ documentary last year about why things didn’t work out with him.

“I was just unhappy.” I didn’t want what he wanted, and I don’t think it’s fair to him. “I don’t think you should be super excited about things that the other person couldn’t care less about in a relationship,” Billie said. “I don’t believe that is fair to you. That doesn’t seem fair to him.”
